Often described as moving meditation, Qigong uses mental stillness, relaxed and focused breathing combined with gentle, fluid, physical movements to encourage the flow and balance of Qi (life energy) throughout the body. Beneficial for all aspects of our wellbeing – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. This is defined as Internal Qigong; self-help for health enhancement and disease prevention.

We can all benefit from an occasional “helping hand” when it comes to health and wellbeing. Some gentle assistance that encourages the mind and body to relax, unwind and enable the body to restore/maintain the natural flow of Qi (life energy).

In Traditional Chinese Medicine the practice of External Qigong – offers a gentle intervention, using the emission of Qi by a trained practitioner, directed to another person, transmitting Qi either through specific touch or by simply passing the hands over the recipient’s body.

Zu Qigong combines the simple touch technique of external qigong, the fluid gentle movements and mental focus of internal qigong with the basic theories of reflexology.

Simple, gentle, effective.
